Buying property is not something you do often — for most people it is among the largest financial decisions of their life. My job as a consultant is not to sell you a unit; it is to help you make the right decision without needing years of market experience yourself, and without falling for the advertising that calls every single unit the opportunity of a lifetime.
What separates a consultant from an ordinary broker
An ordinary broker earns the moment they sell to you, whether the unit suits you or not. I work on a different basis: I select the projects I follow only after checking the developer record, and I will tell you plainly when a project does not fit your objective, even when that means I do not sell. My aim is that you come back to me, not that you regret it a year later.
How I work with you, step by step
I start by understanding your budget and your real objective — a home, an investment, or summer rental income. Then I shortlist two or three options rather than an overwhelming list, and set out the advantages and drawbacks of each honestly. If you decide to reserve, I negotiate the price and payment terms on your behalf and stay with you through to handover.
The areas I cover
My work is concentrated in a few markets I choose deliberately, because I am confident in their developers and their delivery record:
